About Us & Location   The path to peace is a journey of quieting the mind & opening the heart!

Yoga Traditions is owned and operated by Karen Rudolph, long-time practitioner of Hatha Yoga and has been serving the community of Oconomowoc and beyond for over a decade.  We invite guests from out of town who come to the Lake Country Area, into a class to experience the peace of Yoga or to enhance their own journey of their practice.  Yoga Traditions understands the mind-body-spirit connection, and will share tools and techniques with all students, in assistance with their level of healing and relaxation.

Karen Rudolph decided to establish Yoga Traditions after embarking on her own amazing journey of transformation and healing.  After years of playing racquetball, Karen injured her back so severely that it took her out of the sport completely. In the late 80's, a massage therapist recommended that she try Yoga.  She began to experience the positive effects physically and mindfully of Yoga and quickly learned the power of relaxation. In the late 90's, Karen left her corporate position to pursue a career in the Holistic field at a Wellness Center.  With her years of Instructional experience in the corporate world, it seemed only natural that she would teach something she loved doing, Yoga. While teaching Yoga at the Wellness Center, she decided to study the practice deeper.  She has since personally trained in many styles of Yoga, taught a Teacher Apprenticeship program, and has become Certified as an Instructor. After much learning and personal growth, she believes in sharing all that she has learned and encouraging others to live a life with peace and happiness.

Karen's understanding of physical and mental well-being has made Yoga Traditions unique. Yoga Traditions has grown over the years from personal referrals only---the best compliment one could receive!

Yoga Traditions believes that beauty of body and spirit comes from healing and relaxation. Yoga is the best form of exercise because of its effect on the internal systems of the body.  Yoga has simple and effective body movements that stretch and tone the body muscles.  Through a series of poses (asanas) Yoga is known to improve strength, flexibility and endurance.  It promotes physical and mental/emotional health with students often reporting relief from pain, stress and anxiety.  Some say they want to camp out after class because of the wonderful feeling they receive from their practice!  Come in and join us, your first class is complimentary if you choose to sign up for a package that day~

Classes are limited in size to allow for more individualized attention.
